Any comments , likes, dislikes etc on Halcro MC 20 power amp. Thinking of it with a 6DJ8 tube preamp. Will be listening to it in a few weeks time.

Which impressions you have got?
Who have heard one of the Halcro-Amps together with the SA-103 from Plinius Audio or one of the Aleph-Series resp. X/XA series from Passlabs?

Haven't they gone belly up? I wouldn't touch one with a ten foot pole since some people in the know say all the interesting part numbers are ground off and they aren't answering the phone. No forwarding number either. I'd say steer clear ...unless you want a very expensive boat anchor when it finally goes pop. 8)
(They had a 3 yr warranty didn't they?)
