Looks like you're not going to need as many envelopes...
A good part of the board goes through Slim, Fuzion or me ^^

Just one question...
Would you mind dropping in a little post-it with the different usernames and board quantities?
I know it's extra work for you, but I'm not sure if everyone that contacted you has asked me first or, for that matter, if someone asked me to forward the boards, but never asked you to send them to me...

And have fun with those 750 board!
My GB has gone through the roof just like yours: 14.322 individual parts!
To quote my favorite theoretical physicist: Bazinga!

Regards,
Jokener

When it comes to it, I will include all the details I can (username, name, address, qty) for the boards I'm sending to you. Same applies for the other distributors 🙂

hupe: not a problem.

I'm going to chase up the manufacturer now - they should have emailed me by now with a final quote....

How many sets of parts is that?

Condolences.. 😛

In the 14.322 there are 140 full kits with all gain resistors, individual extra orders from Mouser/Farnell whenever someone wanted, cases & AC/AC adapters.

But I'm thinking of just ordering 200 kits and then sell the rest for profit.
200 kits would get me well north of 20000 parts. Bazinga!

@Alexium: Its not 100 parts per kit, several people have significant numbers of other parts from Mouser, Solder and Wick are in those numbers, and so on, and so on...
But it will be work, lots of it.

I'm really curious to see how my fairydust-O2 turns out!
(With very high-quality components, but otherwise electrically the same... so no opamp blasphemy ^^)

oh, that's relieving to know, but still, haven't practicing soldering since... like never 🙂

Oh, that's interesting! You definitely should perform close comparison with ordinary O2(blind, preferrably). Would you?..

The UK company - with all things considered, I felt they were the best (and they came in almost exactly at the expected price which is good). It is Low Cost PCB Prototype Manufacturer, Online Quote, UK PCB Prototype Manufacturer if anyone is interested.

Edit: wow that is a pretty funky function that puts all that spiel in to describe the link automatically! Also, seeed never actually got back to me with a quote. Can't be dealing with people who don't take my orders seriously!

Make sure you get a single protoboard before you make 750 of them, check it for shorts to the ground plain, cirtuit integrity , etc. With all the NFB I don't think this is the type of amp we want jumper wires on.
