Why has noone tried to clone the JAMO D830???

Yes, I have them, never use them. I was running them through the SoundEasy digital filter when designing crossover, but I never built one.

Would you be able to tell me the distance between the edge of the baffle and the speaker cabinet? Need to work out curve angles. 🙂

I know this is a very old post. But has anyone gotten anywhere with modifications with the crossovers on these? I just picked up three of these that are in near mint shape and I would like to update the crossovers. So a schematic form would be wonderful thank you

Just some info on this. In Norway there was a popular Seas Excel kit developed by a local shop called Eltek later Dynabel with this design it was called Dynabel Exact. Google it. It was even tested and compared with the Jamo in a magazine 10-15 years ago where the kit “won”. Seas Trym kit is also very similar. Later there was a Super Exact with passive radiator.
