Ground Question with Wooden Enclosure.

Aye
Have done quite a few wooden cases, and all exposed parts grounded with wires going to the star ground (usually a screw on the back plate, close to the inputs). From there, a couple back to back diodes to the PE connection of the power cable. has worked very well for me.

of course, generous shielding inside the case, all connected to star ground separately, help for channel separation and noise pickup, where the wood is essentially useless.

I am not a believer in putting everything inside, and not connecting PE at all - better to resolve the ground loop issues you may have in your system rather than relying on something that isnt grounded. And, lets not forget that parasitic capacitance in the mains transformer - maybe not dangerous for healthy adults, but......

just my two cents
