I see blue the eggs but that doesn't look like our Robins. Our Robins are member of the thrush family. That almost looks like a Wren.

Hi Cal - That one is the male Robin - has more color (colour) than the female - same thing with the Cardinal where our males are bright red but the females have less and instead have muted coloring that serves as camouflage in order to protect the nest.
This info has been provided by a somewhat questionable source tho. For enough bird seed this guy will sing ya any song ya wanna hear.....🙄
BTW - game just ended - sigh..... Well not to bad for Nashville - it was their 1st time for 2nd level of playoffs. Congratulations to your Canucks Cal - Well played!!! There was an interesting article on this evenings news that the visiting Canadian fans are pretty much amazed by all of the good singers at the local karaoke bars....... 😀😀😀😀

Yes nature is good at that sort of thing. Making the females a bit drab makes sense. So where did we go wrong? I thought humans were the smartest race of all. 😀

Nashville should hold their heads high and be very proud of their achievement this year. My hat's off to your team. That was a good showing and I think you can expect more next year. The offense needs a bit of a kick but your D is tenacious. A very frustrating team to play.

Funny comment about the foreigners considering Vancouver is a breeding ground of good music itself. 🙂

Manu, if you could post the other side of that picture for c2cthomas...he won't have to go outside to see Robin's (a person?) nest!
I have several of these robins hop around my yard for worms all spring...several young ones in the underbrush behind my house too chirping every morning.
