I usually mix wood dust and wood glue and fill up cavity with smile this is a parmanent sol.
To me it is better if you remove the threaded insert if you can avoid damage to the wood.
You laid your hands onto the fostex drivers as yet?

No luck with the drivers yet - I am preparing myself to wait another 10 days.
I can take out the threaded inserts.
I can take out the threaded inserts.
In case of screw holes made in incorrect places, should I leave the threaded insert where it is and forget about it - or should I fill up the cavity?
If fill up, then with what?
Thanks,
Zia
Drill the hole out to fit a wood dowel. Glue the dowel in with PVA. Flush cut the dowel. Now, if you use a Forstner bit or a brad point bit, you can drill the new hole overlapping the old hole.

Don, mostly I was using a 3 way with 12" woofers and 4" mids and metal dome tweeters that was built by a friend over a decade back. I have built the BIB for the same person 🙂 -he came for auditioning and loved the sound.
I also had a B&W MM-1 for near field listening. The BIBs are doing a decent near field job from 4.5- 5 feet... plenty of detail captured.

Zia, congratulations, nice built. Great. What amplifier you use with your BiB?
Your earlier speaker were built by Zulfiqur?

Thanks Minhaj. I'm trying out the BIBs with a Miniwatt N3 and a Norh SE9. I personally prefer the Norh SE9 which has 9 watts per channel - the sound is more punchy and precise to my ears. My old 18 watt/channel PP sounds muddy 🙁 and the tube biasing is a bit off (tubes running very hot).
My previous speaker were not built by Zulfiqur.

Very good. Pls note fostex drivers need long time to break in. They shine after 200hrs, at least, use. I use 206 in 208 sigma cab (I do not enjoy them much cause FLH is bitting me).
I think your Bib is even OK for better amps.

Installed Phase Plugs!
Installed the phase plugs today.
Managed to get rid of the dust cap with a lot of labor and some luck (can be in the reverse sequence too🙂) Weilding a sharp instrument near the centre of the cone is risky business, specially for a first timer. The phase guide installation pictures on Dave's site was a BIG help and basically my guide to "dusctcapectomy".
Listening impressions - more treble... bit more bass also. System sounds a bit less laid back than before... more aggressive, punchy...
Of the tracks I've listened to, Acosutic Alchemy's "London Skyline" blew me away...
The bass sounded a bit thick at times on other tracks, so pulled the cabs from the back by 3 inches odd.. might have to adjsut the stuffing too?

You might want to try playing with speaker wire as well - less might be more in this case. I've been quite happy with single strand of solid #24 extracted from CAT5 (teflon insulation) network cabling - some folks go even smaller to #32 "magnet" wire
On Bass - I have mine pulled out about 8" from the back wall and about 12" from the side walls.
On wire - when I was still using the miniwatt I found that I preferred four twisted pairs of CAT5e strands (woven together) but since I built my RH84 amp I found that I preferred the single twisted cat5e cable...

The speaker on my left hand side is placed 6" away from side wall and back wall; the right one is 6" from backwall - no corner for it.
Getting satisfactory listening... acoustic tracks have more definition and strings sound "pluckier".
Will play around with the cables hopefully later in the week.
