Greetings, I'm an electrical engineering student from the university of michigan, with an interest in music, especially creating my own.

...so SY it's 162°F in Austin today??
In the shade, yes. In Texas, that's what they call "balmy."
Thanks for the welcome!
Question I've had so far, what section of the forum would I find information on spectrum analyzers?

It's somewhat scattered. Are you talking about stand-alone units (like RTAs) or computer-based systems using sound cards?
That will be a challenge. 😀 You might start a thread in the Equipment and Tools section outlining what you have in mind.
I have an analog unit (HP3581A) which I use as a backup for a sound-card based system. The latter has enormously better resolution, noise floor, and versatility, but can only measure as high as 90kHz or so.

I'd like to see the heat sinks on your Class A power amps!!
We don't need to power the heaters in our tube amps, just leave 'em in the sun.
In da morning ya gotta check your amps (and boots) for scorpions - and after ya put 'em on then you can go out and stomp on sum of dem rattle snake things. Wellllllll - at least that's what we did up in Amarillo (orrrr as we say - Am-a-rill-ah)😉
Don't get me go'n about how to chase them cow thingies around the oil wells!😀
Welcome, Nelso, It makes me glad to see more members from my side of the world!
