I no longer use mandolines. I now prefer to use a rotary slicer. Quite a difference in speed. It's a fully stainless and chrome hand crank type with 6 different "barrels" for the different jobs. Slicer, small grater, large grater, crinkle cutter and two more that I'll have to go home and look as I can't remember right now. 😀
