I read follow:
In 1977 I designed and published in Audio Magazine a single-ended
Class A amplifier using bipolar followers biased by a constant current
source. A considerable number of amateurs have built the device, rated
at 20 watts output, and many have commented on its unique sonic
signature. It is one of the very few examples of a solid state single-
ended output stage available.
Which audio magazine? Are this paper online?
Who knows the URL?

I think, yes - thank you very much. Because there isn't a exact name by this amp project like "ZEN" or "Death of ZEN" it is hard to find - if at all, only by chance. Is it this one?

Peter M. Re: Note to myself: Never again use fingers to check if there still is voltage left in a capacitor...
I discovered a while back it's always better to use a FRIEND'S FINGERS to check if there still is voltage left in a capacitor....... or a friend's cat.....

Haha, I`ll try that next time 😀
Whatever you do, don't use your tongue
I`ll try to remember that 😀
Remember, though, if you elect to use your friend's cat, this might only work for nine times--before you need to find another cat.
It's all a function of joules, ergs, and skin resistance.....😱
