Thank you. I was thinking of building a 5 channel class-d power amp and a pre-amp too. When I listen to music it's 2-channel, and when watching movies it's 5-channel. That does make the pre-amp build quite more complicated.

I'll read some more about the design (reading German will be a challenge) and get back to you with questions eventually.

BTW, can you come up with a rough estimate for the cost of the build?

just make sure to use soe decent opamps, the opa2132/34 et all are going to take all of your sources and inject boredom into them

If you are not looking for the "tube" sound, i suggest trying to find a decent capacitor-less(in signal path) discrete bjt schematic and implement it.

I'm not sure I get this post, are you saying op amps sound boring and dont use them in a pre or are opa2132/34 opamps boring?
