I have made a small "Ultra High Speed Buffer" Module, for the three data lines we need.
To get no interferences between the data lines, i made a discrete layout witch based on the fastest single buffer chip, the NC7SZ125.
Perhaps i will produce a few of these modules...🙄

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Glad i didn't order the parts yet 😉
I will definitely buy one of those nice ultra fast speed buffer modules from you😀
Thanks Oliver

Is there any word on functioning of the dac in conjunction with the doede douma SPDIF and/or USB to I2S boards? So far I have assumed the problems above only appear with the twisted pair module, no?
I am afraid that Doede's SPDIF converter has the same issue,
because the buffers are on his dac board and not on the converter
Board.

Ayayayyy.... then I will be in the market for these buffer boards as well, if they ever see the light...
By the way, what are you planning with the tubizator 2.0? Integration of the shunt?

No. The shunt stays a separate module.
Just wait a few days till i am ready. I will post the changings.

P.S.: I have start the production of a small batch from the "Ultra High Speed Buffer".
The width is the same as the TP WM8804 pcb, so you could mount it on top. 😉

PERFECT

Oliver,
Can you put count me in if you produce this buffer modules. I have not been able to hear this dac as I have the twisted pear module as well and was waiting till issue of getting SPDIF in was resolved.

Thanks Oliver... I think we all appreciate the effort your are putting into this!
By the way, I need more shunts 😀, but more plusses than minuses. In total 3 positives (+19v, +15v, +12v), and one negative (-19v). You did not perhaps have some single positives lying around, do you? 😉
Alternatively I can get some from Quanghao, but would be nice to fit them all on the same stack...

I have the TDA1541A shunt module and the +5V signle shunt module here. 😉
Doedes SPDIF board works with Olivers TDA1541 board, but his USB board does not. For the second one you need the buffer. Is there any word on functioning of the dac in conjunction with the doede douma SPDIF and/or USB to I2S boards? Doedes SPDIF board works with Olivers TDA1541 board, but his USB board does not.
Doede's USB board works fine with Oliver's TDA1541 board if one omits R28 and R31 from the latter. Well, that's how I got them going . . .
Sorry to be dumb but what does a high-speed buffer do that a normal speed one doesn't?

So what's the science behind that? What do R28 and R31 do?
