What schematic have you used? I am interested in using the chip, but I can't seem to find a fool-proof schematic for TI's class D chips
i also completed the ic based on application schematic diagram but its not working. i didnt wnt through the evm though

hi Macky, was this outputting real 50 watts for you? This thread says maybe not:

also (anybody), looking at this kit, can you wager a guess whether it can be used in bridge mode without modification?

thx!
You can get 50Wpc BTL out of it in a 4 ohm load with the max supply voltage.
per channel?
thx
Yeah (Wpc=watts per channel)
i thought BTL (Bridge Tied Load) means both channels feed a single speaker, so it's a MONO system. -- so there's no "per channel", because there's only one channel.

Am i wrong?
Also, the TPA3123 is rated at 25WPC max, so there's no way to get 50WPC in a stereo config with two speakers.

No I am wrong, I thought this was the same chip as the TPA3116 but in another package. Output can be found in the datasheet.
ok. Think this chip can really output 50w in BTL mode with full supply V? This thread says maybe not:

TPA3123 is 25W per channel, so if you will use the BTL config, then you will get 50W channel per chip 🙂
