New Manuals available
Please note that the new manuals are now available (thanks for the updates Jon); the first is the BOM for both the positive and negative builds. It is small and downloads quickly.
https://docs.google.com/fileview?id...I2ZDYtZjEzYmM1NzRmNmVi&hl=en&authkey=CJ-z_r8N
The second is the full manual and is large (very large!) and it will take some time to download.
https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B2...hjODMtZWQwMTA2ZDE0ZjFh&hl=en&authkey=CJnql8oH
There is a lot of really good info in the full manual including instructions on how to pay - but only when the boards have arrived.
Pleasant reading.

Add 2 more boards for me (total of 6)
What is the europian ekvalent to 2SC5171 and 2SA1930?
The toshibas are easy to source
Original JLH RE Group Buy Thread
I've bought from both Audiowind and Cricklewood Electronics.
Hope this helps.
The toshibas are easy to source
Yes,i found them on ebay,Thanks!
Just make sure that they have a stylised "T" on them.
The ones with a normal "T" on them are likely counterfeit, and do NOT meet the HFE specs according to the Toshiba datasheets.
Alex
The boards are listed as in production.😀
I have updated my list with recent requests.
Thanks for the info on sourcing the toshibas.

Perhaps not the right area to post this, but it would be nice to see some kind of feedback from the many members who participated in the first Group Buy.
Whether good or bad !

*looks at pcb from previous GB*
Q5 (bc640 on the +ve board) is marked on PCB, to the right of Q3, C3.
Q5, 6 aren't, well spotted that man!
They are both 2SA1930 on the +ve version, 2sc5171 on the -ve.

I will get an overlay for the transistors before the boards are sent.Hmm,I see that Q6,Q4 and Q5 are not marked on the pcb.
How should it be?

I didn't mark the bigger transistors, as 2SA1930 / 2SC5171 wouldn't easily fit on the silkscreen layer. As the boards are universal, I thought it best to leave these blank. The build manual makes component placement clear, I hope. 🙂
Cheers
