your KSA-50 build looks very good. I particularly like the chassis. Do you intend putting the preamplifier in the same chassis ? The chassis front panel has input selection and volume control.
For many people 4 weeks for delivery is acceptable, especially if the price difference is significant.

very impressive, where do you plan to use the KSA-50 ? I assume for the 2 front channels ? I am considering a bi-amp KSA-50. The tweeter channel will be run at a much lower bias current to lessen the heat output.
Do you intend to build a new power supply for you KSA-50 ?

Yes i will use the ksa 50 for the 2 front channels when playing lp's ,and the lm3886's for probably everything else. so my next project/purchase will be a speaker switch 🙂
Yes I am busy designing an enclosure for the ksa50. I have 4 x 68000uF 50V capacitors , i want to experiment and see if 2 will be enough with one transformer or if i should use two transformers with all 4 capacitors. Since mine will only run on +-35Vdc and my main speakers are rated for 92db/w/m and 8ohms one 600 or 750va should be overkill enough.
So at this stage I am torn between 1 x 500va / 2 x 300va / 2 x 500va. the last one will obviously be the best , but if i want to spend this much money on the power supply is still a question since a 500va is about $100 here.

Sorry for off topic. How is the PSU connect to the amps? Can you post schematic of PSU and grounding for amps? Are amps gnd connect to PSU gnd? Thanks
usually we connect ground (psu / pcb) pass trought capacitor 0.1 uf (250/400v) to Star Ground
