Hi Abin

I thought that Troy give you great idea

1. Go to commercial sector
2. Choose Group Buy section, a lot of people can try your board
Group Buys - diyAudio

3. You start a new thread
4. With Tittle "GB : Perfect edition KSA 50 PCB by GXCNABIN"
5. You can give your email when you list there
6. Photo of PCB
7. Price for stereo
8. Chassis Photo
9. Price for chassis
10. Heatsink
11. Heatsink Price

You can add
- Preamp tube PCB
- Preamp tube price

so this solid state forum for research & development function
and the group buy site just for trade

Thanks! Pocoyo.
thanks your warm-hearted help very much.
My English proficiency is very bad,how doesn't know group buy.
I with single-hearted devotion assemble it, decided again.

HI gxcabin

i have a question.

on the uPC1237 chip from the AC supply there is 1K resistor with 2 diodes on your board.

But if i look at the datasheet of uPC1237

http://ampslab.com/PDF/upc1237.pdf

on page 6 they show resistance values graph according to AC supply voltage according to this graph this 1K resistor should be around 18k ohm.

I have put in a 22k and it seems to be working. With 1k value I had weird issues with the relay switch off and on randomly.

You may the board on 22K change be 750R, the 1K 2W change is 15-18K.

i am currently doing some testing on mine 🙂

sounds AWESOME. tonight i have plugged the input and output beteen my daily amp(gainclone) and the "new" one to see if i can hear a difference. very hard to hear a difference when you have to get out and switch 4 connections between 2 amps. I might be leaning toward to ksa 50 but at this stage i might be fooled by the "new" amp being "cooler". and my first non lm3886 build. 🙂

I currently have mine biased for 3 amp class A (1.5A per rail)
running on +-35V

I would like to try and fit two switches for testing to switch between my gainclone and ksa 50 and also a second switch to run at 1.5A and 3Amp bias to see if i hear a difference 🙂

As you can see i cut a piece of from athe pcb since i am going to make my enclosure the size of the heatsinks ,hope that doesn't anger you 😛

sounding great....

OH! ! My PCB .....😀

sorry for the long explanation 🙂

Left of the vertically standing units is a powersupply with a 500VA 25 0 25 toroidal, with 40000uF per rail supplying +-35V to 5 x lm3886 chipamps. Each of the vertical units contains one lm3886 chipamp running the 5 channels of my sound system.

The bigger enclosure to the right contains 6 x lm3886's + linkwitz transform all forming one single channel with another 500va transformer inside tested to supply 300W into 4ohms vir my subwoofer (2 x 12" sealed enclosure i built).

thus combined forms 6 amplifiers for my 5.1 system.

During any normal day only 2 of the 5 channel lm3886 chips works mostly for music. recently I started to also use the subwoofer for normal stereo use with cuttoff at 80hz. This is all fed from a single rotel rsp 985 surround processor. Which is fed from the optical out from my media centre pc.

About 2m to the left is my turntable. For the forseeable future i see this new amp doing duty for the turntable only ,but using the ksa 50 with 2 of the 5 gainclones in a biamped system is very probable in the long run if I get speakers to support this.

YOUR PCB LOOKS TOO SMALL :bawling:

Special message for GXCNABIN

Dear Abin

1. Try to ask your post office for registered post

They will give tracking number so we can
track them, same as EMS
is there any available registered post service ?
not the EMS service, it is too expensive to diy

2. Offer your UPC 1237 To new buyer
Those thing hard to find here

3. Offer Your Diode Bridge, 1n4148, zener 27v 5w
& Omron Relay too. Sometime hard to source 1 by 1

Thank you

Has been today busy for one day.
