Hi sakis, I use TOSHIBA 2SA1301+2SC3280, It's better then 1943-5200, I had test this outpouts, My 2SA1301+2SC3280 Obtained from the old amplifier, It's very nice 😛
I made this one, the "original" PCB.

This is funny, or a mix or tragic and funny.
Guaxian.... Greg Erskine was the one made the original board.... the boards you have/bougth are non authorized copies from the original design.
The ones produced these boards you're using, not only have not asked permission to do this as a business, but also is using this forum and Greg home pages as support, inviting his builders to come here to obtain more informations.
Seems to me you are not the guilty, but all that sittuation is very strange for us...i have made the circuit and Greg made the board...no one asked as permission to make this as a business...so, in my point of view, these boards are result of piracy.
Of course you are innocent..but need to be informed to know what is going on.... you have the thread to read and obtain informations, also Greg pages...needing more details, ask the one provide you boards,

a 50W amplifier has just so much driving ability.
If it is not vigorous enough for you, then you have chosen the wrong amplifier and/or the wrong speakers for your listening needs.

To everyone who has enjoyed and build this amplifier, Why not send Mr. Carlos some extra transistors,that maybe your not using,,so he can contunue building his wonderful amplifier? I,m sure he would be very pleased to recieve them. Thanks to all
I have emailed him about this. Apparently the Customs Authority in his country makes this difficult if not futile.
