Haven't seen it done, but that doesn't mean it isn't done. The cap-across-rectifiers was something I did when building RF gear many years ago- before there were UF4007s. Got that trick from the Radio Amateurs' Handbook.
Oh, I forgot about one important detail -- the voltage rating of the bypass cap. The bypass cap I have available is 0.01 uF 100V polyester. Is it gonna be fine for bypassing the UF4007 which has VRRM (max repetitive peak reverse voltage) of 1000V, VRMS (max RMS voltage) of 700V, and VDC (max DC blocking voltage) of 1000V? If not, what should the voltage rating of the bypass cap be?
You want a high voltage cap there, with good HF characteristics. 1000V ceramic should do fine.

A good high-voltage Schottky, fast response. Ample capacitance after, and a second-order EMI filter...then the power supply!
