I had a nakamichi 100DAC, I am now want to find a nakamichi HU with coaxial digital output to connect with this nakamichi 100DAC, can you please let me know nakamichi which model had the coaxial digital output, thanks a lot, already surf on the net for few weeks, what I found is nakamichi CD700, CD700II and MB100, other than that, is it any other choice?
MB70 changer has coaxial out. I have one here that will probably go unused. This still needs a head unit to control it.
MB70
can't, my account is under moderation since I just joined. Feel free to send me an email though.
Digging into my car today I found the perfect spot to mount the interface board between the ipod and nak CD700. no rush 😀 I'm excited, can you tell?

Dumb question, why do you need to control the ipod from the CD player? Cant you get an IPOD dock to RCA/charge cables and plug those into the analog inputs on the CD700? add your favorite inline remote control on the dock side and you don't even need to control it from the ipod, right?
---------
BTW to the other guy, the MB-X has a digital output also

iPods have serial control. most iPod controlling converters first emulate an external cd changer, then translate the changer commands into serial control commands. But as previously discussed, no one makes such a device for Naks....YET! Mwahhahaha (evil laugh)

Some words from a former (aka reformed) Nak Rep
Please use backstraps, yes backstaps 😱 when installing any Nak disc changer in your dash. If not possible, some form of rear support is REQUIRED. This was the number one reason for failure issues. The engineers thought installers actually used the back straps supplied in the box.😱
hope this helps keep some of the awesome sounding units out of the trashcan.

Nakamichi cd 700
Hey Guys,
Can, please anyone tell me where can i find to buy the loading mechanism from a nakamichi cd 700 II ???.It shows a mech-error.Someone loocked at and says is better to take a functional one than this because two wheels from it are not good, and even if they where,he can't guarantee for this one.It looks like this players are not reliable at all 🙁.
Also,is there a nakamichi player/charger that has a IDENTICAL loading mechanism?I'm thinking to buy a cheaper one(second) only for mech if is IDENTICAL.Any help would be apreciated!
Thanks a lot!
