i have a bag that says it has 5,000 led's in it(see pics)
tested with a 3 volt battery color is purple doubled voltage to 6 volts purplish/blue more purple than blue.
i will count out lots of 100 and bag them,$7.00 for 100+ shipping
i accept paypal

i just tried to count 100 of these led's got to 100 and spilled half of them,so im just gonna put a hand full in every bag(Probably 150 to 200)in each bag.
and also i will take best offer or trades.

Find some kitchen scales and weight 10 😉 Use the 10 to weigh out 100. No more counting 😀
If they are UV LED's (test by shining on white Tshirt or Washing powder) How much to ship in a jiffy bag to the UK ?

Don't confuse the 'merican...... we just call them padded envelopes over here.
(The only "Jiffy" we know in the US is peanut butter) 😛
are us humans able to see uv leds?what ever they are they look pretty darn cool at 3v.
you wanted 1 of my counted 100 bags?
if so i will find out monday morning what shipping will be to u.k.

doubt if they will live long at 6 volts??
purple means red + blue usually. maybe the red part was from heating??
dunno... leds don't usually shift color with output...

i didnt leave them connected at 6 volts very long, they were alot brighter @ 6v probably just brighter purple.
Health warning
The warning below is from a UV LED datasheet.

Note: The device is rated at 30mA max.
(i.e. not super-high power)

Probably not.that does appear to be them, the t1 is the version i have.
It's a standard size and shape.
There are very many completely different LEDs that look exactly the same.
I have just received some (Very quick service) thanks
They are UV 3mm leds with what appears to be 3.3v forward voltage and 20ma ratings.
30Volt reverse and no damage (limit of my current limited supply)

These are long wavelength UV (close to visible / purple) not quite short enough to act as money detectors (at least in the UK) probably around 405nm I would guess.
Time to get the iron out and mount a few 😀
