I have very good experience with transformers from ASV Sebart (Slovenia)- double C-cores, excellent bandwidth, resonable prices.

Hi vuki,

I found ASV Tube Audio and it seems like they have only one transformer, I wonder could that transformer be suitable for a PP with KT88? I am planning to build a tube amplifier so I am looking for a suitable OP transformer but I would prefer to find some small brand which could be more affordable. Also I found another transformer model LM-9905U from this site Audio Catalog
but it seems to be a bit optimistic figures in their specification, the weight of transformer is only 2,75 Kg so 75 Watt sounds a lot, does anybody have any comment on this transformer?

Cheers Michael

Hi,
well, Mr. Sebart is not from "internet" times 😀 so he doesn't updates his pages, but here is a link to his croatian distributor where you can see what is available and what are the prices. You can also contact ASV and order a transformer made to your specifications.
