AMEN Pavel. Either you experience a difference or you do not. Bottom line. Science can not tell anyone that they can or can not hear and understand anything. They do try and I commend them for it, but still too much is not defined or understood to make blanket statements against either side.
Just try it and then you will have an experience, one way or the other. Pretty simple.

The statement should be along the lines 'test them at home, take care to not know the identity and level match, THEN make your decision'.

Look Terry. I have been in this business for a long time. I have done everything that I could possibly do to prove to myself that I indeed do hear differences between different components, not just cables. I have been on listening panels where each person made notes about what they heard and at the end everyone compared their findings. No not everyone heard the exact same things in the exact same ways, but there were some pretty eye opening similarities when all were compared about what was heard. Things like tonal balance, image depth, height and width differences that correlated very closely too I might add. Some did hear things like slight aberrations in a specific region (Bass, Midrange, Treble) that others did not notice, but the findings were quite impressive I and others thought that attended.
Show me what listening tests that you might have conducted or been a part of that you stand so proudly behind.

I only twigged myself a day or two ago that curly had no idea of what we were discussing. I pushed him a little, simply because I really wanted to know what he knew.
John curl even covered his back, warned him it was a trap (no, I was genuinely curious) but poor old curly did not even know enough to know how little he knew!
And, as you will have seen, he has gone back to 'I hear it I hear it' and 'I am an expert in audio perception.'

More balanced than anything I heard from you on this topic. You refuse to even attempt to hear differences. If you want to keep yolur head in the sand then so be it. I try to find answers where you look for assistance from others with regards to what you are capable of doing.
I did not need to be warned. I have been down this road many times before. When you have some valid proof to support your stance please feel free to provide for the edification of us all. So far you have only being a talking head with no original thoughts of your own. There is no imperical data that can determine what any human being is or is not capable of hearing. Only opinions, such as yours.
