Most of the Pass stuff appears too balzy to run on those hafler sinks.
Bummer, the picture I saw looked as if an original Zen might squeeze in.
Ah well, maybe Pass' Citation 12 mod. 🙂
What about a mini Aleph with 18 to 20v rails and about 1A bias with the
halfler heatsinks or a F5 with 20v rails and the bias redused to 1A?

Years ago, I put an original Zen, in an Adcom 555 box, works still as I write this.
The Adcom and the Hafler are not that far apart AFAIK.
Magura 🙂
I ran a DH-200 modded and bias kicked up to 1A per channel. unit was toasty, but heat sinks were up to job
........A Pass-esque tutorial would be the ultimate way to grok it, and would be a great addition to what has come before......
And a book of 'quotes' from the master, eg.
'I personally do not create high current drive stages for
the output Mosfets. I much prefer a well behaved 20 mA.'
What about an ebook of circuits (and variations) with links back to the thread.
I know it would be a huge task. but it would save the 'Oh f***, I forgot to bookmark it.
It's quick to 'read a circuit' to know if it's the one you want.
The Pass forum is huge, searching it can be a headache, there are a number of circuits that I have saved but 'I can't remember where the thread is again'.
Can anyone point me to.....
I can't remenber if there is a UGS type BTL complementry output power amp GB, or was it an XA that i saw........

A "collected works" might be the ticket. Something to do
on the upcoming long vacations at Sea Ranch.

You know, something on paper would make an excellent publication. You can bet one of the audio publication houses would pick up on the idea.
I would love to have an NP autographed edition in my library.
my "Pass" folder is almost 500MB ;
even if many files are saved web pages form here and there , everything is related to Pass .
go figure ......

How about if I autograph somebody else's book for you?
Actually I am much more attuned to writing articles. That way you can
write what you want without much constraint. I have said before that I
would never do a book. I could be wrong of course.
