The thanks system has been an interesting experiment. The primary purpose was to encourage high quality posting. To this goal it has failed (miserably), and so it will either be removed or changed to achieve that goal.

Some suggestions:

* You can only thank one person, one time in a thread
* You can only thank one person, ever
* You can only thank one person one time in 30 days
* Show who thanked (currently disabled)

Give it time

It seems like a nice touch, easy and quick
Instead of making "thank you" postings
Positive response to people doing a nice effort trying to help is OK
I dont know where we would end if noone did
Making jokes about it is even worse
Its commonly known that part of the younger generation takes everything for granted
It all comes to them, by just pushing a bottom
Its all about showing respect to other people
Doesnt go without saying

I dare not suggest to have a "negative" remark option to a post as well
But may actually help the unfortunate poster to correct, or whatever

I would have pegged to fore one who would want to eliminate it, as you haven't gotten one thanks yet.
No worries, I'll give you one!

I'm using his preamp design (with a few changes) and thinking of his tremolo circuit.

I didnt post in the other thread because it could appear to be negative

Its kind of daft to ask in DIY, but is his power module cost effective
Maybe his preamp makes more sense
And maybe you/I have enough stuff around to build a nice poweramp
And to build your very own combo is nice too

My point is, Ashdown Little Giant 350 cost 400USD

Though, I do have 8 pairs of matched MJL21193/94 :D maybe they could be used
Do you have any suggestions with these

Ah, forgot to mention, its fore bass guitar

Jeez, your Thank Tank is overflowing!! See, it did you good to come here! ;)

It's almost always cheaper to buy a moderately priced finished product than to build your own. Fortunately, I don't do this to save money. ;)

I have a power amp (several actually  ) sitting, waiting for a home. It's a module from my Abomination build:

Picture 694.jpg

Good for 300 watts+ into 4 ohms.

Put those outputs to use! Build a fire-breathing, finger-scorching amp!
That's where the fun is.

Stop over-complicating things !!!!!!!
Just remove the damn feature.

Thank you. :)
