motorola dcp501

Moto 501 remote

Anyone???
The All For One, RCA, Phillips, etc, etc universal remotes do not even list Motorola as having a Audio Receiver, I've tried every code listed to no avail.....So it is not as easy as just picking up any old universal remote.

So, my offer still stands:

******WANTED!!!!!!******
*****DCP 501 REMOTE CONTROL******

I know there is somebody out there with an unused DCP remote lying around that would like some $$$$ in their wallet instead!!

Please contact me at: evan.scores@yahoo.com

Thanks in advance for any help!

This belongs in the marketplace section mate. But! If you ask someone real nice (probably would be good to give them a giftcard to amazon for the trouble, as it takes some time) you might be able to send a learning remote to someone with a DCP and get them to
teach your remote the DCP's commands. But at some point, it's worth it to just drop another $130, and get a second unit for a second system and have a shared remote between them.

I have a drive also. I am in Chicago. I have all my parts from a gutted 501, but already sold the remote. Send me an email of where you are located and exactly what you require from the unit (drive, main motherboard, daughterboards, etc)

I also have one more 501 (completely modded) that I still have, with a new remote. I am contemplating selling, but can't seem to get myself to do it...

Considering the use of cheap electrolytic caps on every signal line throughout this unit, I'd use an external CD In to eliminate one more set of caps. Either that or if someone was ambitious enough, replace all the coupling caps with BG non-polarized or a quality film. The amp itself has tremendous potential with the coupling caps replaced, so I'd assume replacing the others would help as well.

panomaniac, theAnonymous1, john65b, badman, and all the others who have acknowledged my quest for a remote....thanks guys!! My quest for a remote seems pretty bleak but :bawling: what are you going to do??? I'd appreciate it if anyone has a lead on one of these remotes or knows of a compatible one, please drop me a line!!

Take Care,
CatahoulaCam🙂
