To center the TOSlink cable in the bezels, I cut a tiny piece of sleeving (approx 1mm), pushed the cable through the bezel, slid the sleeving over the end of the cable and then pushed it back into the bezel so it was flush and centered.
(These are the indicators from my speaker protection boards which have red LEDs, which is why the end of the cable looks a faint red rather than blue).
