84" tall line array. The design uses 16 mid drivers; 5-1/4". The mids are slightly overlapped. The reduced centre to centre distance allow for the 'line' effect to be maintain to over 2 kHz without lobe interference noticeable.
The overlap allowed the use of larger drivers which are crossed over at approx. 140 Hz for spl levels exceeding 120 db at 12 feet.
Yet another advantage of my overlap design is to allow a cabinet height of just under 86" to allow use in regular 8' ceiling listening rooms.
