Now installed in a slate plinth, and equipped with a 12 inch Schick arm carrying an Ortofon Royal N SPU on an AT 18gm Technihard head shell. The stock zamac platter was replaced with a cast iron platter acquired on eBay. Amongst the many modifications (geltec bushings and dots) my final change was the addition of a Merrill - Scillia lead/cork/rubber record mat modified for a 124. The table is extremely quiet and I am very pleased with the overall performance.
