A 6CA4 is an EZ81... the Rogers tube is a Philips, so is just badged 6CA4 for the North American market... out of interest where was it made (the 1st character of the 2nd row of little codes near the bottom of the tube). I can't quite make out the code from your pic... my first guess based on what i can see is that it is a B = Mullard Blackburn plant.

Are the other tubes also Rogers/Philips?

What do you mean by ""repurpose" My dictionary (book) and internetdictionary does not know that word.

If you mean were i get that box, it was by accident, shopping in a
hobbyshop. The original purpose of the box is unknown.

To re-purpose is to take something intended for 1 purpose and use it for something else.

The little codes are hard to rub off, and i can almost make them out in your pic, so you should be able to make them out.

The arrow in the "enhanced" photo points to the character of interest.
