See these two other pics: ultralinear amp, cathode bias, chokes for main B+ and another one for B+ input section branch. Using 6550C Svetlana for about 40WRMS per channel. Very nice sound. [ ] Ricardo |

Hello
Just wondering if the way I build my circuit boards would be of any help/interest to the DIY tube people... The support plate is made of fenolic resin (very tough...), 2 mm thick, the tag strips are fixed through holes and copper rivets to it. After that I solder the rivets heads onto the terminals (tag strips bottom eyelets) to provide good electrical contact and rigidity. I paint my plates black. The rest is pure hard work... days and days of it! [ ] Ricardo |
