Universal shuntregulator, "Toolereg" PCB-GB.
Just in case some of you are missing out on what is going on over in the Pass department:
Toolereg GB start
The Toolereg is a lownoise, high performance (still simple and cheap) shuntregulator and is perfect for upgrading many series reg's or IC reg's in preamps, CD- players and the like.
Adjustable voltage and current so usefull in many applications. The board is small and easy to heatsink, so generally installs into anything.

Hi Andrew. The excact price is not determined yet, but a preliminary price-quote is approx 4-5USD per Toolereg board. Thats when ordering 200 pcs. Dennis is getting back with a new quote since it looks like we will be ordering more than that. It is all burried in the NS10 thread, and I realise that it has become pretty lengthy. Anyone interested should follow what is going on in the NS10 thread.
🙂

Hi Steen,
Actually Tony suggested that we roll the NS10 GB
in with the regulator GB. I'll just continue with
this thread you've created.
Cheers,
Dennis

Shunt Regulator / NS10 PCB GB
Hello,
This is a Group Buy for PCBs of a shunt regulator designed by
Cetoole (Colin Toole) and PCBs for an updated version of the
classic NS10 preamplifier circuit by Nelson Pass.
The PCB artworks have been mostly the work of Apassgear,
Manu and Steenoe. Other members have made useful suggestions
to these projects as well.
We are grateful to Colin and Nelson for sharing with us
the use of their designs. These circuits designs remain
their property and the PCBs are strictly for DIY,
non-commercial use.
Some final adjustments are being made to the PCB
layouts so final pricing is not yet available. Based
on an earlier iteration of the design, the shunt
regulator PCB should cost about $5.80CAD in
quantity of 200.
Please show your buying intentions at this wiki page:
http://www.diyaudio.com/wiki/index.php?page=Toole+Regulator+PCB+GB+
Each regulador board contains two regulator PCBs (Positive and
Negative) and two raw power supplies and each NS10 board
contains two mono PCBs all scored for easy separation.
For more information please see these threads

Steen,
Thanks for starting this thread.it was due some days ago 😀
Dennis,
I think is a good idea to manage both GB's in one address
Will ask Manu, but Gerber’s should be finished pretty soon guess 3 or 4 days for the last mods.
Cheersl

To All,
I will reissue an updated version of the “Hints to Setup the Tooleregs” for those who are unfamiliar with this type of regulators... it’s an easy job when you know what and how to adjust it.

@ moderator's. Could we have the thread title changed so the NS10 word is included?
Like this: Universal shuntregulator, "Toolereg" and NS10 PCB-GB
Just shows how focussed I am on the Toolereg, right now.

One cant have too many of those

The price listed for 200 pcs is in Canadian currency. The price in USD is approx 4,6USD. According to xe.com
It seems that the 500 pcs border is within reach🙂 So a new quote will probably be needed later on.
🙂
Hi Larson.
Dennis Hui is the member of the team who is managing the GB. Still no payment is required until we have the final Gerber’s and this thread has gain a bit more exposure to see how many boards are accumulated to base our finale request for quote to suppliers.
So please check this thread daily or as often as you can to see how we are doing.
Cheers
