For the choice of MOSFETS, please kindly read post#1, and the balanced F5 thread.

There is not going to be a GB for 2SK1530/2SJ201 because you can get them matched from a vendor here on the forum.

Default Transformers for the UK

This question is aimed primarily at the other 2 UK members who are in the case GB - APK and AndrewT:

If you haven't purchased the toroids already have you had any thoughts about where you will be buying them from?

Cheers
Ian

I had a quick glance at Amplimo so far, but did not seriously investigate

Jan (I may be able to abuse ;-) my business experience to get a nice toroid deal for the EU builders of the F5X)

Another vote goes from here!

Not going to build this design, but hey, a good toroid is a good toroid

I am about to pull the trigger on a pair of Sumr Toroids. I really don't know what the specs are to even try to find alternative vendors, but after looking through the thread and asking fitzfish I contacted Sumr and they gave me a quote of $333 shipped for 2 of RC0600 915 5. If this is the ones correct for this build, let me know.
Thanks,
Bryan

I'll take a look at the number on one my transformers when I get home, and I'll post here. I was part of the original mini transformer GB.
