Pennies would have been cheaper! Copper washers at about a buck apiece.
It can take them on with one channel turned off!!
Now I'm going to cry. Somebody telling me I'm #1 and not using their middle finger to do it. Thanks, Buzzforb!!!

My F5. I'm listening to it now. Pat Metheny, "Beyond the Missouri Sky".
Wow!! That's beautiful, and different!!! I do have the same CD (and like it), but I do not think I can ever build something like that 🙁
Regards,
I don't recommend building something like that. Way too much work. Better to have a conventional case that you can swap boards in and out of... unless you are me! Bound and determined to do it without finned conventional heat sinks. Now on to a balanced Bba3 into F4s. Also without conventional heat sinks. Might employ a power saw this time, though. Yea, that's my favorite Metheny CD. It's just what I happened to be playing right then. Seemed right, since Metheny's a local boy from Independence, Missouri and I'm in Kansas City, 10 miles away or so. Thanks for the compliment!!

Very nice! Kind of NASA design 🙂My F5. I'm listening to it now. Pat Metheny, "Beyond the Missouri Sky".
I think it looks NASA as well. I'll bet they wouldn't tolerate the weight, heat, or power consumption. It does resemble some of the stuff I've seen at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. Needs to be wrapped in crumpled foil, to complete the effect. I should photoshop it into a photo of Mars, maybe with some tank treads on each side. Naaa, I'll just go back to trying to obtain jfets for the BBA3/F4 build.

I just heard that Charlie Haden died today. I only mention it here because of mentioning listening to "Beyond the Missouri Sky". Great album. Sad.

Really?! That's sad. Charlie is one of my favourite musician.
I am saddened by musicians passing. It makes me ever more thankful for recordings and the equipment to reproduce them.

Yea, landing on the moon the first time was cool. 1969. "Hey, Jude" song of the year. By the way, do you know where a guy can get "74" jfets (Idss ~10). Just askin'...

Oh no 🙁
Looks wonderful! (And vaguely familiar... lol. 🙂 )
I like the techflex on the transformer leads. It looks clean.
