the chassis is a vent intended for for use in car engine intake.
I like the way you used that mesh, she will stay nice and cool.😎
I was looking for an idea like that.
B1 buffer
Hi all, thought I should post a pic. Thanks to Vince in the US this mostly finished B1 board turned up at Christmas. All I needed to do was drop in the Fets and hook up power. No case yet but Wow. I no this is a old project and Salas and co changed things up with the mezmerize but still this B1 rocks. Until now I don't think I have ever heard such clarity if that's the right word. I love it! Love it😀
Thanks Mr Pass and Vince

Using tile as amp panels is excellent. Way to think outside the box.
I have a thread dedicated to the use of unconventional parts in audio gear.
It's in the Parts forum. That idea belongs there!

yes very nice.
At voices a little bit behind my aleph p, at rock metal and techno a very little bit better than aleph p.
I was very pleasant with the sound.
But have tried it with a little bigger PSU😀 (ca. 30000µF)
PSU was made of spare parts it is sold because it was really to big 🙄
I always think about to try it with a capacitance multiplier and later get this thing into a case.
but i dont know how to scale up a cap multiplier for more Voltage the most i saw runs at +/-30V

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

stijn001,
You sure you want to use power line filters on this amp?
Looks like you are using a CRC power supply reservoir. That should be enough.
Do you have a power/noise problem that requires them? They could choke off dynamics.
Nice looking amp just the same. 🙂
