GB: AYA II TDA1541A DAC (2014 Edition) PCB or Kit

With Western Union you can send money worldwide and sure to Serbia. It's an american company and around for decades.
The fees are not too steep using your credit card or Direct Pay, if applicable.
It only gets expensive when you want pay with cash... Western Union can be found worldwide... often at your local post office.

You have also my method above if you can edit yourself a unique e-Visa card number to fill in the form on Skrull. Skrull said my desinscription was ok after I sended a mail but they keep my pay card information because it seems to be the law in Britain... Well no risk as you give a unique e-card number valid for 2 months only... if your bank offer such services of course ! It cost me just the download fees on Skrill site...and maybe the verification amount (between 0.1 and 3 euros) but I wait to see if this money come back. In the worst case less than 4 euros stay cheaper than a bank transfer.

Hi. I'm aboard ;) I got a PCB and transformer from Pedja. Is there any plan to look at connecting the Amanero as a USB interface instead of the PCM2706? Can leave the USB parts out and maybe feed the Amanero outputs instead (12S I guest)? I'm no expert, maybe the Amanero need some processor to work, if it is the case then it is out. I know there is a free tool available to flash the Amanero for the correct setting. Maybe this is all we need to make it work with the AYA-II.

I'll let others comment on that. SB

Hi all,

As Pedja rodjic seems to have a lot of work and give no precise date for sending the devices ( He said the populated kits will be send firstly) : I have open a thread for non specialist like me to try to understand and select input stage with one or multi daughter boards here :http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/digi...nderstanding-non-specialists.html#post3970563 . And unluckily for us summer holydays are coming fastly in our part of the World (la vieille Europe !) (Jully or August for most of people !).

As the AYA2 2014 boards have 4 UF.L inputs connectors for both I2S and simultanous mode (select with switch I surmise ?!) the thread is valid for the AYA2 board like The Distinctive TDA1541 board RyanJ draw for us (anygood TDA1541 kits thread).

For the GB here please see first post from Cheung (CFT) and don't hesitate to ask directly on the Audial site with the contact form: if the GB is closed, Mister Rodjic printed a little more higher quantity than the whole closed list !

Pedja posted this in blog comments on 4th Aug:

We are obviously late with this project, so I owe apologies to all. I’ve had to make some changes in PCB design, minor changes in fact, but they meant another round of process. Now I did drew the line, so complete PCB series should be done in about two weeks. Holidays will be over then, which*might complicate things with building, but then again delivery will be probably easier.

Apart from some layout (and layout related) changes, there are two parts changes with respect to the preliminary documents that you received. The first, as some of you noticed, BF245 is obsolete and practically already unavailable, and hence it is abandoned in this project. Just until a few weeks ago I’ve had my own stock, and I was unaware of how quickly it disappeared from major electronics parts stores. In fact, things with JFETs in classic leaded TO-92 package generally got tricky, as industry moved to SOT-23. This is great for automatic assembling, but troublesome for many DIY-ers, so I rather choose to stick with J113 here. The second is I2S / simultaneous mode switch, which is changed to more classic style DIP switch.

Speaking on parts… Their availability, possible substitutes etc. might be a huge topic, and I will set another page that will be dedicated to anything related to parts.

I received mine too ;) I didn't receive any documentation with it though. Was it sent by Pedja by email?

Don't want to open a build thread as help will be provided by Audial. I am sourcing the parts and have a question about PS transformers.

Do I have to buy transformers with secondaries marked 9V (which mean they measure with the voltmeter : 9x1.41 (less for a R-core) ?

In the same spirit do you believe the - 16 V shunt could support a 18 V transformer ?

Thank you in advance...
