Documentation is here:http://jlsounds.com/uploads/I2SoverUSB v.III.pdf with specific info about tda1541. Case looks like the ones you can design at schaeffer - very easy to do online but obviously more expensive than a Chinese one.
he is an artist. Does he sell these chassis? Does anyone know if this usb board would work with balanced tda1541? I expect I can take the L and R data feed in simultaneous mode to each dac chip?
He made only specific chassis by order, as I know just locally.. also he makes some parts for Soulines..
You can use usb board with TDA1541, but I think that is nonsense.. combination of spaceship and horses..
You got zero points
... is here a contest of any sort?

I understand where you are coming from, but I like these dacs, and I have modern dacs (Sabre, wolfson, TI) too which I also like. No right or wrong, just different. Its actually a cool project and that's part of the reason I am doing this.

Yes, he is stupid..

Ouch, someone is touchy
Hey, I'm not the one that got fooled, what you got is a schaeffer case from here: https://www.schaeffer-ag.de/ and I just designed it in 10 min (see attached image), costs 291 Euro + shipping. The guy that sold it to you might make custom stuff in house but his latest projects are using cases from other suppliers. Here is the front plate from his previous project: https://modushop.biz/site/index.php?route=product/product&path=187&product_id=581

As I said, guy who fooled me make chassis for various electronics.. dimensions, conectors and everything else is different every time.. customer not him makes decisions about that..
Case from your link cost more than electronic, so I don’t think I’m fooled if I get allmost same for few times less

Does signal going thru electrolytic capacitors C1 and C2, and where is the place for Mute board?
Thanks.

I am using the DRV603 filter board, so mute is not needed in my configuration
You might need the mute board if you use another output filter, with no embedded mute circuit.
Which capacitors C1 and C2 are you referring?
