I have considered this kind of approach. After all, I'm now confirmed that DSP makes things a lot easier. I will do it first wth DSP and see if it's even feasible to try passive xover.

I have been quite slow with my project but there's been progress... The prototype is ready for the first tests as soon as I get the dsp (in the next week I hope).
