"The Wire AMP" Class A/AB Power Amplifier based on the LME49830 with Lateral Mosfets

Andrew it's strange that the links doesn't work for you because both of them points to the same post but different pages numbers (due to personal settings) but in my case both links work (for me) since they take me to the post and not the page.
This might be some bug otherwise i don't understand the difference between these two links. (And for me it is "...mosfets-13.html#post2769816")

It's post 365.

It looks like one link says page 37 and the other link says page 8. For me with the posts per page set to the maximum, or 50 or so, it's page 8.

This goes to the post as it only quotes what I presume is the forum post number of 2769816.

The following is the link but with the page number, -32.html , removed:
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/soli...d-lme49830-lateral-mosfets-8.html#post2769816
And as it was (except the forum just auto shrunk it! If you 'quote' it might show the full link in your edit window.):

If you set to 50 or 100 or whatever posts per page, then there aren't 37 pages to this thread, so it just point to the last page.

I have an xls version for other people with out of date software like me. But I don't have a means to zip it so can't upload it this forum. AndrewT I can email it to you if you can't covert it to work.

I see now also that this forum auto ruins your links when you edit your post. It added the page number back in, but it added -8.html. No wonder people can't get it right. Every time they try the forum interferes for the worse. And then you are out of time to fix it again.

Column N is the Pq of the LME. He has forgotten to sum the +ve & -ve supply voltages.
Columns P to X inclusive have not taken account of any losses that will occur when the amplifier is required to deliver output current.
Even if Opc has assumed a perfect regulated PSU voltage, he must take account of the sum of the Vdrops across each component/wire/trace.

Does anyone disagree?

Hi,
Anyone can point me the latest link: Class AB Worksheet

It's post 365 maybe on page 8 or maybe page 32 depending on your settings?

It's an xlsx and may not open with older software. I have an xls version for other people with out of date software like me. But I don't have a means to zip it so can't upload it this forum. I can email it to you if you can't covert it to work.

All the results in columns N to X are wrong.

thanks Kevin, btw I owe you a message in reply to your kind
PM too, I put a somewhat lengthy one together but lost it in a browser cache issue when the forum maintenance ate it and wasnt one of the times it was saved. Sorry for the flood, seems we all, independently felt strongly about it to report various content, I cant see anyone taking issue with its present form

so, back on track, I may just get these amps up in the next week or so, cant wait to hear them! surely its up to people to do their own math if they want to account for their own specific power losses accurately? no matter what he did it would be incorrect for someone

only 6 for the moment, the last 4 were planned for the end of the month/July and I put them back in case someone was missing out.. will still have them if nobody shows up.

at this stage I see no reason to worry, have a beer and it will go fine! :)

well the thing that most confuses me, is that AP2 says theyve actually been picked up by ups on Friday, not waiting to be picked up, so its not a matter of being patient. when a package is picked up, it has to be scanned and the system updates automatically to reflect this, there are no people in the process to slow this down.

anything can happen I suppose, its just odd. i've given the benefit of doubt already so i'll continue to do so for now.
