The Singing Bush

Thanks, yeah I'm not even on the scale on the heatsinks, can leave hands on indefinitely. Case is pretty big.

Thanks, whenever you have some time, appreciated. In another development, and because I like to blow fuses, hooked up the other channel and exact same behavior as first channel. Good to see Monk’s up and running looks like the same PS boards.
04dgmsilv,
Be aware using star nuts on the Thatcher PS board as I found out the hard way they can contact the + mask & really be exciting. I had to go back & use much smaller securing hardware.

Beautiful job Monk! I’ve been enjoying my build in the big system for a week plus now. Did some measurement, distortion spectra, etc all very similar to ZM posts, so I drug it upstairs. Main system has JBL 4367 and I had been mainly using LuDEF and SissySIT for the last year or so. Sounds amazing! Sissy-esque with much more bottom end grunt on these speakers.

Thanks again ZM, appreciate your help in guiding us rookies through these builds!

I’ve gotta say…the sound is very detailed & smooth…room is 🔥nicely.
I’ve gotta say the sound rivals tubz for sure. AJ on bottom end of SLOBs…dual mono Wayne pre.
Jeeezz I love DIY…did I mention dead quiet between songs!!
Enjoy your Holidays

Yeah! But. I still have got to let it rest. I simply cant settle for a PSU-voltage just yet…

But, i am in no real hurry. Things could be a lot worse. Still got them twin parallel coupled Aleph J’s now playin. 🥰
