If he was, I'd worry more for our plight than I doBut if there is anything God exists, he looks at us through the eyes of the animals.
I do not think he is satisfied with what he sees.
it could help if you say what problem is
Proof of the existance of a god
OK thank you. please forget about Js & Ks for now as M5129L looks maybe to be the problem, tho I dont really know for sure. The problem is when i play vinyl my left channel is very low and somewhat distorted. How can i test this device in situ? There is one for each channel(L-R). If it has to come out then is it possible to drop another(better?) in its place? The fet is dual in line package but the pcb has provision for both inline and 8 pin dip.
Thank You. Brian.
Thank You. Brian.
according to service manual ( vinylengine site) , M52129L is operational amplifier , not JFet
if you doubt that one is malfunctioning , swap positions between channels ; if problem stays in same channel - OP is OK < culprit is elsewhere
if problem moves with suspicious OP , there is culprit
however , I would check all switches in signal route prior to any soldering

dunno
will watch it at least few times more , in next month or so
I saw first half last night. A worthy follow up (and not a remake as I wrongly said). They have actually managed to capture the original feeling very well. Looking forward to the other half tonight.
