TDA1549 - Marantz CD48

If anyone is still looking in on this thread...

Modding my Marantz CD5000. Have added 3 separate 5v regs to the dac chip from New trafos etc.
Outputs are direct from 1549 thru 2u2 jantzen.
I want to feed the digital chips on the transport with their own regs also. Especially the SAA7378.

In the schematic it looks like the 5v to this lot is co trooped via some muting transistors. So if I feed clean 5v direct to the consumers on the transport will I get nasty pops and noise due to my bypassing any muting?

just purchased one of these off ebay, right channel is mute on rca output but ok via the headphone socket, anyone come across this? thanks

Do you have the schematic? It should be fairly easy to test as thr rcas and headphine output are pretty much the same thing until the 'last minute' so there aren't many components to test on that channel.
