I am very happy with the sound. The drivers are getting easier and easier in the top end. I will need to look at a way to tame a little off the top, but the low end is great, better than my Fostex 225 Half Changs, and similar to my TB 1772 in the Half Chang. I will write more this weekend.

Awesome! Are those subs behind them?
Yes they are subs, but they are for the kids theater and are not connected to the Virtue amp. They are just dedicated for the in walls (NHT 3 and 4 plus NHT 3 in surrounds/back.

You might be hearing the lift from 1.5khz to 3.5khz. I dare say most of us don't mind a little lift past 5khz. And at my low listening levels, it is required.
do you have any baffle step ?
Very nice looking speakers you have there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Norman, you are correct on the plot graph, but when you look at 1k through 20k, there is a significant 11 db rise, which needs to be taken care of. There are things in the works to do this, but now i'll have to settle for what it is. I currently have NO bsc circut in there. I was looking at a 1MH and 3 ohm R later on. Need to order those parts.

My gut says that you will need a bigger inductor than that. While deciding on the resistor value, you might substitute one leg of an L-pad.
Have you tried a zobel to tame the very top?
Bob
Excuse me, but FA22SEAS suitable for Tanken? It is very similar in characteristics to Tangband 1808
No. These boxes (there are 4) are very specific for each driver.
I have this SEAS driver. It is quite nice. Designed to go into a sealed box.
dave
Seas suggest both a closed 60L box and a vented 70L box. TS parameters are quite dofferent from the Tangband so they need a different box. Quarterwave loaded cabinets should work as well. I had a look at the Seas driver today IRL and it is impressive. Much care has gone into the design. I might get a pair and put them in either backloaded horns or Decca quarter wave pipes.
