switching power supply.. can't get -24v?

I use crappy speakers for testing... yes I hook up like you say and fixed that wire. It was accidentally not put in right spot ;)
but I see the problem still exits maybe i will give up for today

anyway. disconnect the speakers. they can hurt your hearing in worst case.
you can massure DC ofset on the outputs i fear they are close to +20V. and massure the rails. see if you have +24V and -24V.
 
Kind of curious as to how the SMPSx2 connected in series works. I suppose if they have isolated outputs they can be safely connected.

Are SMPS usually four quadrant power supplies? In the typical 2 quadrant linear regulator, the positive supply can only source current, while negative only sink.

In the case of isolated SMPS, is it more like 2 positive regulators from 2 transformers connected in series, or does the "ground" current dump into the 2 different supplies on positive/negative parts of the signal?
