no :scratch1:

well, maybe the higher gain of ecc83 would be to have

my cheapskate effects are a bit noisy, and thickens the lower mids at higher level
and that is exactly what Im trying to avoid
so it seems Im still far from 'my sound'

I have ordered the new Palmer Deepressor pedal
but on backorder

ok, I got the Aikido mono solo boards
it will be my instrument input

and I expect my two channel Burning BA-3 (NelsonPass) will look like this
this will be my output gain/buffer

now I need some power supply parts

going to order trafo

planned voltages

0-195-215-235 (100mA)
maybe 100mA is a bit high for a preamp, I dont know ?

6.6-3.3-CT-3.3-6.6 (1.5A)

0-18 / 0-18 (1.5A)

and maybe I would like exstra voltages for effects, 0-9-12-15V

maybe getting a bit complicated in one trafo :scratch1:

BA-3, a full ground plane seems to make sense here

and where a hot connection is needed, I will just route away with engraving bit
a hybrid combination of hard wire and hole mount

would be really nice to have a small tool to route around the holes

Do you have any bass sound you are shooting for?

clean ;)
and natural, whatever that means

the only distortion I will accept is what makes it sound in the direction of acoustic bass :D

actually, right now, the only pre I have between my passive bass and power amp is a simple Bass EQ pedal switch thing
works ok
it even works in bypass mode

but it tells me that my future preamp build may be all I will ever need
that feels good, somehow
but if this speaker goes active, I will still have some means of controlling the sound :)
