Hi Victor, so correct to say no plan to offer one optimized for the 45b for 5.2W?
I did notice that it appears to be using a 5u4g rectifier, which I like. If you wanted higher plate voltage and more current flowing you could use a 5ar4. After some tinkering around with power supply resistors and cathode resistors you might have something that could work well with the EML 45B. So I hope the design sticks with the 5u4g.

What is the current availability situation of New Production 45 tubes?

Google search is not coming up with much, many of the new production offerings available just 5 to 10 years ago appear to have been discontinued and unobtainable new.

It would appear 45 tube has fallen out of favor, perhaps not profitable enough, 😔

KR audio website does not list 45 tube.

Sophia Electric used to offer a few different 45 tube options, now nothing on their website
