Selectronic Rcore Transformers

White : Hot
Black : Neutral
but with R-Core it is't very important

Mine are also 220V primary, It were wired for double voltage secondaries.

Today Erno Borbely sent me a Facebok message telling me that likes "chorizo"....And the next time I need semis he want "chorizo" instead euros.

Has anyone used the pcb mount r-core transformers from selectronic?

I am trying to determine the pin layout at the moment, is it similar/the same as the one towards the bottom of this page - Products - Custom Magnetics, Inc.

apparently they are quite easily obtained from india (which iirc is where someone said that the selecttonics ones were made)

no idea where/how to order though ...

Selectronic was the biggest seller of r-cores transformers in France.
Sadly i am not aware about other sources....you know with 500 VA ?

Have no idea were to buy 500VA R-core's. I'm using 2x500va 2x36v ones in my PSU and was planning to add 2more ones in order to increase the PSU to 2kva, already bought 8 BC components 106 63v / 22000uf capacitors with bolt connections.

I believe this is maybe who said it was made in India. The voltage symetry was indeed very good and precise ! I even didn't know they just closed ! I'm glad to have some for my dacs !

There is an other source of R-Core in France but made in China, some seems center tapered so be carefull on the writting :

Transformateur torique - Alimentation HiFi de haut rendement - Audiophonics ! I never tried them but the vendor is know and reliable.

Many HK vendors on the Net as well...

Yes, my three Selectronic (France) Rcores are all clearly embossed "SHILCHAR".
But the big one has no labelling to indicate wiring codes, nor voltage/current/VA ratings.
All of them have misleading colour codes on the wiring.
The two halves are out of phase with respect to the other half.
