SEAS A26 speaker?

I used Sonofil, it’s more convenient as you don’t have to worry about containing the fibres and you can roll up a piece to stuff the port without needing a wire mesh to hold it in place. I’ve a vague memory that the quantity needed matched the package size so there was no waste (could be wrong on that bit though). I used thick felt to damp the cabinet... I think you’d be wise to damp all the interior surfaces.

In the dynaco A25 which inspired the A26, the insides are almost completely filled with rock wool. In an aperiodic enclosure like this, the box starts out too small and the internal damping and resitive vent knock the Q down to a more acceptable level.

Don’t know if i ever mentioned it, but Scott & i did a classic Radford/IMF style TL for this kit.

ive put rockwool on the back panel, and denim ultra touch on the top and side panels. Ive only let the floor of the speakers as to not block the air flow in front of the aperiodic port.

sounds better now
