Quasimodo results (ONLY)

Hello

Did a search on this thread, the original Quasi thread and on Google…found an inquiry, but no results for a Quasi test

I’m looking for Quasimodo info on the Avel Y236651 transformer?

I used this same transformer in a build I’m trying to solve a noise issue in. Hoping someone else might have resorted to using it over an Antek or similar with the supply shortage.

I haven’t had luck finding info on it and don’t have the Quasi board or ability to use a scope right now.

Any chance anyone has the Quasi information on it?

It would be a big help.

Thanks

18R works like a champ if you’re using independent secondaries and Cx 10nF and Cs 150nF

Hi,
did someone happen to measure the Antek 3218 with the primaries in series (230v)? For 115v I find results in the range of 10 to 12 ohms, would it be ok for 230v too? Thanks in advance.
I didn’t put the primaries in series, but I did a read with open primaries, and there was a slight ring at 10R under that condition. So more damping than when shorted (10R-12R range, or anything less than 22R really). I assume whatever trend prevails with other trafos when the primaries are wired in series vs. in parallel would apply here.

Many thanks! The 4225 works fine with 15R @115/230, so this seems to be the trend.

Hello to All,
Hopefully following thread rules for posting.

I do not have a QModo/Oscope. Would anyone have a test done on an Antek 3230 or 3232, 300VA, 115V primaries transformer's. l have reviewed the results of all the Antek test posted in the results thread, and I am thinking that Cx=10nF, Cs=150nF, Rs=12-18 ohm, will be close. Thanks in advance for the help.
Regards
MM
