Yes, it's a very nice case!
If the project goes well I may well install it in this case in the end.

Just remember that these boards will not fit a standard Quad 405/405-2 enclosure.

Well, I am running a pair of active speakers since my Quad went crazy. I found an Audio Pro A-100 with A2-2 speakers.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I will combine that set with my Audio Pro subwoofer, a B2-40. When the Quad are back in business, the Audio Pro gear will be used elsewherwe in my house.

Roger,
If you can extract the PCBs (with the integrated alu profile of course), postage may be not too bad. I'd be happy to fix them for you. However there is a chance the problem is in the power supply or other parts of the non-PCB circuitry. PM me for more info, as I don't want to hijack this thread too much!

There is a copper region on each layer of the board (2 polygons and vias) for use as a heatsink.
