Well john. these are International rectifier IRF 232 and IRF 9231
in TO-3 package. Bought the paired series of 52 total from a DIYer
in US.

The amp is closed and running playing Rackmaninov, but I can show you the spare...

Regards.

Alain.

Norman, and Nat,

Thanks.

;)

I had last night great enjoyment, I rediscovered some old vinyl ;
enjoyed the music. ... I have no more pictures for you :bawling:

Now ready for a X-BosoZ {I need a great DIY preamp for El Diablo (A75)}

PS: I definitively do not recommend this amplifier to a beginner, but it will
be a great joy for all the others... exept, may be X mens... :smash:

Alain.

Hourra pour Nelson!

I am Back!
After a week of tweakings....:smash:

51/53 degrees after 2/3 hours, about 2 amp bias by channel...

It works perfectly, except a IRF 232 I had to replace.... Mr Static I think !:bawling:
and repositionned the rails DC relay's back to back for a better look.
The cover fixed with screws...

A place in the rack, just for "El Diablo"...

The bass are tought, the mids and heights a delight . I rediscovered
and enjoyed again a lot of my prefered vinyl's, I hope enjoying it for a long time. And I you want to drive your speakers with Authority, it's the right amplifier. :cop:

Thanks to Nelson and Norman for providing such thrilling projects.

I am a happy DIYer... :)

Cheers.

Alain.
