Franz, have you heard sometimes about " inrush current " ? How do you mean, that will be life time of relay contacts ? Have you imagination, how is current in switch on time ?

At this position, between the tranny and the diodes, the tranny is acting as current limiter.

Should be O.K.

Inrush limiter ? Franz, 200 - 300 VA trafo have secondary current by shorting cca 30 A ! The same current " flow " through the relay to elyts by switch on. But if you think ...

I am really sorry, I did not work on this project for some months. As Zang knows, I was "paralyzed" by my social situation.

Now, it's one month I have a new job, I really love: Technical manager of a small fm-station. A one man job.

But I am still ready, to pick up again this project. Zang: I will contact you to order some PSU boards. Troy: I still can offer some amp boards to you.

But, I can assure you, I did find the "glass": we use some AT tube (valve) microfones

I didn't realize that you had some amp boards for sale. I was eagerly awaiting yours & digi's efforts to turn into a group buy, i either missed it, or availability was subtler....
